Good Article Review

[edit]

I have reviewed this article and I consider it worthy of Good Article status. It is well referenced and, on the whole, well-written. I have made some edits to the article following a request and in-keeping with the advice to GA reviewers.[1] To achieve A or FA status more citations are needed and the Virology section requires some work to make it clearer with regard to vaccine escape mutants and the selective pressure that the use of the vaccine has putt on the evolution of the virus. As a member of Wikiproject for viruses, I have promoted it to GA in that category too. Well done. Graham Colm Talk 19:12, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comments:

  • Per Wikipedia:LEAD#Length, the introduction seems a bit too short. It should probably be expanded from one to two paragraphs.
  • Several references have unnecessary spaces between the punctuation and the opening square bracket.
  • Multiple adjacent references should be put in order of ascending reference number
  • Why are teletype (<tt>) tags wrapped around some refs but not others. I don't recall ever seeing this done. These should probably be removed to give the in-line superscripted citations a more uniform look and feel. Emw2012 (talk) 02:06, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
