Candwich relaunches

[edit]

March 15, 2016 - CandwichTM, the official "Sandwich in a Can", is back with its Honey BBQ Chicken pocket sandwich. Whether packing a lunch or snack for school or work, feeding kids a snack on the run, or headed out for a fun outdoor adventure, Candwich offers options that are a great-tasting alternative to fast food. Candwich plans to re-release the Honey BBQ Chicken sandwich first and has set up an easy way to pre-order online at www.candwich.com. People have the option to order a 2 pack for $4.99, a 4 pack for $7.99 and a 12 pack case for $21.50. Candwich needs to raise at least $25,000 in orders to start introducing new flavors. Candwich is asking the people to vote on the next flavor. When Candwich hits $25,000 in sales they plan to tally the votes and rollout the next flavor; $50,000 in sales the next flavor will be introduced; and once Candwich hits 1 million cans sold they will introduce something revolutionary. Flavors will include Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly, Pepperoni pizza and Chocolate filled French toast. Candwich is a start-up company owned and operated by a Utah business man, Mark Kirkland. Mark came up with the idea while eating a chocolate-chip oatmeal cookie out of the refrigerator and drinking a can of soda. As Kirkland drank the soda he had an epiphany: if he put the cookies in the soda can he could sell them in millions of vending machines. The can would fit in the same slot as the soft drink, could be delivered on the same truck, and in short, could introduce different products into the existing infrastructure.

Mark One Food Corp., the parent company of the Candwich was created in 2009 to produce and market Candwich as well as other future food products. Mark One Foods Corp. has a patent on the unique packaging that offers convenience and protection in both lunch boxes and backpacks. And, because of the specially formulated healthy recipes, the bread stays as soft and sweet after one-year in storage as it did the day it was made. Our mission is to bring Candwich into every home around the world. 12.8.127.34 (talk) 15:20, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
