Ethnicity

[edit]

This Wiki claims her father is white and mother is black, but Patton recently posted a photo of her parents. http://instagram.com/p/n3bMz_Rb3W/ Her father is black. Can this be corrected with a more valid source? The citation doesn't link to any existing website.

Early Years and Career

[edit]

Hi! I feel that there are things which do not quite add up in this article. I do not live in the United States, so I may be wrong, but from what I have read you normally leave High School at the age of 18 and it typically takes four years to finish College or University (when you are about 22).

As far as Candice Patton is concerned, in "Early Years", it is said that she finished Plano East Senior High School in 2003 and Southern Methodist University in 2007. Since in the information box her date of birth is stated as June 24, 1988, that would mean that she either finished High School when she was 15 and graduated with a BFA in Theater at the age of 19, or she was not born in 1988.

In "External Links", there is a link to IMDb, where it is stated that she was born on June 24, 1985. Moreover, in "References", there is a link to an article ("Iman & Candice Win' Y&R' Roles") which dates back to May 24, 2004 and where it is said that she was 18 and had just finished her freshman year at SMU. Had she been born on June 24, 1988, she would have turned 16 exactly a month later not 19.

Removed DOB, since it wasn't sourced. If someone can find reliable sources (not IMDB), feel free to re-add. --Ebyabe (talk) 00:08, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The birthday for Candice is incorrect. It should be June 24, 1988. She's 31 years old, not 34. BriellaBleu (talk) 03:59, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Melmann 13:31, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Intro

[edit]

Could someone fix the intro text? It makes grammatically no sense and the line "is the greatest actor of all time" sounds a bit... hm, hyperbolic?
