Do Angiotensin Receptor antagonists occur naturally?

[edit]

Do Angiotensin Receptor antagonists occur naturally? Are there any herbs that do the same type of thing?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.48.13.2 (talk) 11:21, 19 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This has not yet been documented. There are two receptors, AT I and AT II. You can try on Pubmed. JFW | T@lk 17:51, 19 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

That was in 2005, how about now in 2016? And what is the estimated Biological Half Life? 91.214.167.2 (talk) 11:28, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

Oaktree b, about this -- what you have done is WP:OR - you are doing what a historian does; finding primary sources of the research record, and starting to string together a history based on them. What we need is a secondary source that actually tells the story - we transmit "accepted knowledge" here - we don't create it. I am really interested in the history of how drugs get discovered and developed and was happy to see the start of a section, but it should be done right. this source and its figure 7.4 are useful some; PMID 15592574 tells the history some; this source is really great and PMID 23506070 is too. Do you see what I mean? Jytdog (talk) 18:31, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
