Cancong and Canshen

I’m seeking insights into the historical connections between Cancong and the deity Canshen. Specifically, I would appreciate it if we could collaboratively add information about when and how the worship of Canshen began, how it relates to Cancong’s story and significance, and when this connection was established. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find direct context or sources on this matter, aside from the acknowledgment that this link does exist. As a result, I am unable to add this information to the article myself.
