[edit]Despite being located in the charter terminal, Spirit Airlines is a scheduled airline with daily scheduled flights to Cancun and should deserve its destinations listed just like other scheduled carriers PRueda29 — Preceding undated comment added 16:48, 7 July 2005 (UTC)
SFO-CUN service
[edit]Just to let you know that UA does have a Saturday only flight from SFO-CUN! I do apologize for any mistakes!Bucs2004 00:47, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Incorrect "Official" Cancun Airport Website on sidebar
[edit]I came to Wikipedia to find the official Cancun airport website, but it seems like the link to the website is incorrect, possibly tricking someone intentionally. It takes you to what someone may think is an official website, but first and foremost, the name of the link seems incorrect: https://www.cancuniairport.com/ There is an extra "i" between "cancun" and "airport". Further, the grammar is poor, the "need to know" section recommends that you should party and buy stuff, and there are links that allow you to book services. This doesn't seem right for an official government website. I can't edit this link, and I am unsure of the actual one. But this should be investigated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cjkline (talk • contribs) 01:47, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
- This article seems to have been targeted by several different fake websites claiming to be the official website, starting with what appears to be a good-faith edit on 25 Dec 2017. As far as I can tell, the only official site is that of the airport's operator, ASUR. The homepage (http://www.asur.com.mx/en/airports/cancun/cancun-passengers/ ) appears to be broken, so I have linked a sub-page which includes the navigation menu here.-- choster (talk) 23:52, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
Website? Which, and why?
[edit]There's a continuing edit war going on about two websites each of which claim to be the official Cancun Airport page. Are either of them? Or any of them? Is there an official Cancun Airport website, or just these various advertising pages? --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 14:45, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- In the meantime, I've semi-protected the page. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 14:36, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

- @Travelitoao: Whats wrong with the existing site? Aidan9382 (talk) 20:09, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- Please provide some evidence this is the correct url. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 21:40, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- You can check out their social media and the information given within the site, cancuniairport.com has updated and relevant information about flights, destinations and traveling in general. Travelitoao (talk) 15:33, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- The other site has all that too. Please provide some evidence this an official airport site. I'm not sure either of them is in any way official; there are other things that look like Cancun airport websites as well. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 18:11, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hello everyone, none of them are the official site, this is actually the official website for Cancun International Airport: http://www.asur.com.mx/en/airports/cancun/cancun-passengers.html Please take a moment to review the site,
- Hope this is helpful. LetterTA (talk) 19:48, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Lightoil (talk) 01:51, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
Proposed merge of Cancún Airport-Tren Maya Station Connection into Cancún International Airport
[edit]Not a major system or standalone route; all content can easily be covered in both the airport and train station articles. SounderBruce 03:15, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
- Support – It's a shuttle bus, not notable on its own. Put the content in the airport article, then link to that from the train station article. GA-RT-22 (talk) 22:31, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
Wrong Official Airport Link
[edit]Seems to be an ongoing occurrence based on previous edits. The website link currently showing at the top right corner of the page is incorrect. (also listed in External Links). The link www.cancunairport.com/contact.html takes you to a spoof site run by CancunShuttle. They do a really good job of disguising this, and even share real information - but the telling sign is on the bottom left of the spoof page where you find links to a single shuttle and tour company. To summarize - cancunairport links to cancunshuttle and cancunfuntours - which are all hosted the same. There is (and has been) only one official government site for Cancun Airport and it's here: https://www.asur.com.mx/Contenido/Cancun Everything else is a clever disguise to promote someone's business. 2601:2C3:CB7F:2D50:24BB:2918:3327:F775 (talk) 11:28, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- Are you sure that's the right link? It looks like spam... but it does have a asur.com.mx domain so maybe it's right? GA-RT-22 (talk) 14:20, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- This is pretty funny. Look up a few sections. You'll see a year ago June I asked about an edit war regarding this, and meanwhile semi-protected the page. It was a clash between es.cancun-airport.net and cancuniairport.com. Now www.asur.com.mx/Contenido/Cancun has raised its hand. But it's not an "official government site" either. It does have a tad more official connections -- it's by Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, the operator of this and some other airports. So its doing its own advertising too. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 21:20, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- The Cancun Shuttle site was obviously wrong, and ASUR does operate the airport, so I changed it even though the web site is more oriented to selling food and souvenirs than it is to helping passengers. I'll check the June discussion, thanks. GA-RT-22 (talk) 23:36, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help and explanation. I agree that the official site (asur) is not so great either. But it is the airport operator and not a 3rd party shuttle and tours agency. 2601:2C3:CB7F:2D50:A8FC:756D:EF8D:41ED (talk) 10:28, 29 December 2023 (UTC)

Shuttle bus route length
[edit]"4 km route" is wrong. It's 5 km by road from the station to the closest terminal. Assuming they will use the existing road and not tunnel under the runway. The entire route including all terminals must be close to 10 km. The source says "de cuatro kilómetros de longitud". GA-RT-22 (talk) 16:12, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
