Pre History reference

[edit]

Reference creep to include pre-history battle scenes should be incorporated into another page. Remove the last paragraph of the Canadian war memorials introduction may not be politcally correct, but it is appropriate as this is not sufficiently relevant to the topic. Of course one can make any sort of extenualting argument to justify the paragraph, and no doubt the referenced article has merit, but it is not on topic and should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.137.216.242 (talk) 15:35, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

War graves

[edit]

I've cleaned up much of this page, and removed some of the war graves. I don't believe that war graves are necessarily the same thing as a memorial. True, that while both war graves and war memorials commemorate those who have fallen in battle, war memorials also tend to celebrate a war or victory. Also it should be noted that many of these war graves are not just Canadian, but is composed of the entire Commonwealth (run by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission). I provided a link to the Commission in the See Others section regardless. CuffX 20:16, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Organization?

[edit]

This seems to be two articles spliced together, with repeated and nonsensical headings. Good material, but it needs an organizational overhaul.77Mike77 (talk) 17:48, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
