Date of Birth
[edit]The stated birth date of June 24 is likely wrong. On the bottom of this site there's a picture of Delgado's passport apparently giving May 14, 1934 as his date of birth, as well as Campo Elias Delgado Morales as his full name. (Lord Gøn (talk) 21:14, 15 June 2008 (UTC))
- Well, I am going to change the date of birth now. Can anyone explain why his passport is signed with Campo E. Delgado only while his full name seems to be Campo Elias Delgado Morales? Is Morales part of his name or not? I am confused. (Lord Gøn (talk) 12:49, 9 October 2008 (UTC))
[1] gives the weapon as being a .22 Magnum handgun. Corella (talk) 04:57, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Bogus military service
[edit]Several things don't add up in the description of the subject's Vietnam service. In fact, this paragraph is nonsensical.
1) The Air Force did not have to draft anyone during the Vietnam War; it had a waiting list of volunteers eager to avoid infantry duty.
2) One cannot be in the Air Force and be an Army Green Beret at the same time.
3) The Green Berets did not accept draftees, because Special Forces training was too long for a draftee's two year term of service.
The reason I know all this is because I was a professional soldier in the Air Force version of the Green Berets (56th Special Operations Wing) in the Vietnam War. We worked with the Green Berets on some missions.

Also if he was a Colombian national i don't see how he would have been drafted--ConArtis (talk) 18:52, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
Revolver
[edit]It wasn't a .38 and it wasn't a llama. It was a S&W Model 31 in .32 S&W long. Images are here. I am not familiar enough with wiki to edit the info wiht these links without getting removed. rusty68 19:25 1 July 2017 (UTC) http://mensrea-actusreus.blogspot.com/2014/10/la-masacre-de-pozzeto.html http://escritoconsangre1.blogspot.com/2009/01/campo-elias-delgado-la-masacre-de.html
Rank in military
[edit]Wikipedia article on Delgado provides dates of service the the army, which is three years. Achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class in three years is faster than the normal timeline. His dates of service or rank should be verified. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 11:28, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
