Copy-pasting/Tone
[edit]It seems to me that the bulk of this article has been lifted from the General orders, given its tone and the inclusion at its base of the signature of the Adjutant General, and the in-line reference at the end. I do not know if the 1894 General orders has entered public domain or not (one would assume so); but either way, the article's tone is not conducive to that of an encyclopædia and needs an entire rewrite from the summary down by someone familiar with the military history of the area. -DyluckTRocket (talk) 01:45, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- The source is in fact the General Orders, cf. this passage. As a work of the US Government, the General Orders are in the public domain but I agree with you that this should be rewritten. De728631 (talk) 13:37, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
