Suspected copyright violation
[edit]This edit added 274K of text, making the article the third largest listed at Special:LongPages. The subject clearly isn't important enough to justify an article of that length. (Per WP:NOT, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collector of information.)
More importantly, the most likely way that this much text could be added is simply by copying and pasting from another source. Unless that source is in the public domain, such copying is a copyright violation. Accordingly, I have reverted the edit. A limited amount of that information is welcome to be added back to the article provided (a) that the source is identified, and (b) that the amount of material taken from that source is in compliance with fair use laws.
Finally, I note that the article has only one external link, which is to http://www.militarymuseum.org. The material there is copyrighted (by default, because there appears to be nothing saying elsewise), meaning that only very limited amounts can be used directly from that website. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 20:07, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- I have done a lot in a few days to improve this article, as have many before me. I kindly ask you leave the content alone for now. I have just added a significant amount of history for the 19th Century Section, and will be adding more after some much needed rest.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 22:11, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Re-assessment for b-class
[edit]The article has sufficient supporting material (infobox and pictures) though a picture of the camp itself would be nice. However, several sections are not sufficiently referenced, especially the part on the current status.PINTofCARLING (talk) 14:24, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
- This section is of concern, and is the majority of the article prior to my work began on improving it. It appears to be heavily based upon the application that was used to attempt to designate the area as a National Historical District; unfortunately, I do not have access to said application, nor have I found it online. --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 16:09, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
