Cammy Smith (footballer) → Cammy Smith – This should be the title rather than a redirection to Cameron Smith who is a rugby player. Plus I'm not sure the rugby player is commonly referred to as Cammy Smith. So as far as I'm concerned, this is the lone topic. – Michael (talk) 06:54, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

- Neutral for now, but better disambiguation all around would be helpful. Consider there is also Cammie Smith, the cricketer. older ≠ wiser 18:13, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- Comment someone sure thought the rugby player was "Cammy Smith" in 2006, and that person was a rugby editor, so I think it shows that the rugby player is also called "Cammy" -- 76.65.129.3 (talk) 22:17, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- Comment "footballer" is insufficient disambiguation in any case, ruby football also has footballers. If the rugby footballer is called Cammy, then this should be called Cammy Smith (Scottish footballer), if it isn't the primary topic, and "footballer" should be redirected to the rugby player. If the Australian isn't the primary topic, then we should have Cammy Smith (Australian footballer), Cammy Smith (association football) and Cammy Smith (rugby footballer) created as redirects to solve the problem of the searchbox coming up with terms you need to choose from inaccurately. -- 76.65.129.3 (talk) 22:31, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support. I've never heard Cameron Smith referred to as Cammy. I'm sure the change would be fine with an appropriate hatnote.Doctorhawkes (talk) 23:10, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- Support - minimal evidence presented that the rugby player is called Cammy at all. The footballer, however, should definitely be considered the primary topic, unless it's a very common (read: well-sourced in WP:RS) nickname for the rugby player.
