The result of the move request was: Moved to "Callixenus" and the dab page moved, as suggested by P Aculeius. There is a rough consensus that this is acceptable.  — Amakuru (talk) 14:46, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Callixeinus → ? – Subject's name is Καλλιξενος, not Καλλιξεινος, and is transliterated "Callixenus" in both Brill's New Pauly and the DGRBM. Callixenus is a disambiguation page, and probably should continue to be. Callixenus (Athenian politician) is a possibility, but that does not disambiguate from the Alcmaeonid who may have been ostracised in the 480s. He doesn't yet have an article, but is probably notable, so I would like to choose a better target for this Callixenus. Possibilities include Callixenus (floruit 406 BC) and Callixenus (prosecutor of the generals after Arginusae). I don't really like either of them, though, and am open to better suggestions. So it is. That was careless of me. Nonetheless, the point remains that there isn't a second iota in the name in any source I can find. Caeciliusinhorto (talk) 06:58, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As it stands, there's no article for the Alcmaeonid, and in the disambiguation page he's spelled "Kallixenos" (which looks extremely odd to me). I suggest moving the disambiguation page to "Callixenus (disambiguation)" (and probably changing "Kallixenos" to "Callixenus"; if someone wants to make an article, it could be "Callixenus (Alcmaeonid)", leaving this Callixenus primary for the title. Then move this article over the former disambiguation page. P Aculeius (talk) 19:23, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It's by no means clear to me which Callixenus is the primary topic, but your suggestion would avoid having to disambiguate the least easily disambiguatable of the Callixenuses (Kallixenoi?) Caeciliusinhorto (talk) 20:35, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
