Merger

I support merging the two entries, because the "kalinda" and "calinda" are the same dance merely spelled two different ways. I am unsure which spelling is the more preferred of the two. I would merge the two myself if I had time at present; perhaps in the near future, if someone else doesn't do so. --Skb8721 15:40, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In the Oxford English Dictionary "calinda" is cited three times. "Kalinda" is not used. I therefore support merger into Calinda.

I merged Kalenda in as well, as they all seem to have the same origins. --70.48.230.158 03:51, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Improvements

There's a lot more to the history of the Calinda that needs to be added to the page with the proper citations of course. Calinda in Trinidad and Tobago is a lot more detailed and has many components that makes the art very unique. Sdunc2 (talk) 17:42, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
