[edit]Why is the virtually the entire article in present tense? "He is born an albino mutant"? Most of it should be past tense. Ƶ§œš¹ [aɪm ˈfɻɛ̃ⁿdˡi] 03:59, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Caliban.jpg
[edit]Image:Caliban.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Ahab's hounds, Days of Future Past and Caliban
[edit]I've been doing a bit of research, albeit original, but research nonetheless regarding the hounds that were used in the Days of Future Past timeline. Although there has never been an exact depiction of that reality or the process of the hound creation, I'm beginning to wonder if Caliban was not used as a possible template for the hound process. His tracking abilities aside, if anyone has looked at Caliban's appearance, in some of his early appearance Caliban has markings that resemble the hound tattoo's that are on Rachel Grey's face. Again, I'm just speculating but it does appear that he could have been used as a template power wise, and tattoo wise, even though Caliban's facial markings appear to be part of his mutation, even though some later artists seemed to not draw them in. Merger to the list of Marvel characters
[edit]I'm ok with offering time to improve this, but right now it doesn't seem worthwhile. There are no sources for the other media appearances outside of 3 confirming his appearance in 2 films. I'm not convinced this character is independently notable. Argento Surfer (talk) 14:37, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

Here are some others I dug up just to name a few. These are mostly thanks to the film but it still talks about the character in good detail to maybe improve. I am not saying that proves notability but it has proven he's a lot less minor than some Marvel characters who still have articles. Jhenderson 777 20:48, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- "he's a lot less minor than some Marvel characters who still have articles" No argument there. Argento Surfer (talk) 21:04, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
And your preffered solution is to delete the lot of them? Dimadick (talk) 21:31, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- My preferred solution is to merge them to the List of Marvel Comics characters. I can think of only one in the last five years that was so minor that I preferred deletion. Argento Surfer (talk) 21:52, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
