Formula

[edit]

I Can't find where to write the molar formula into the Chembox... Formula: C14H18N4O9 Molar Weight: 386.31412 [g/mol] (Souce = PubChem No 6241) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.186.74.67 (talk) 17:32, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mechanism

[edit]

Mechanism is not consistent with other articles. Mechanism should be biological. Method of action isnt properly used. The information is good, but the title is off. This really needs improvement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TangleUSB (talkcontribs) 02:44, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

ph

[edit]

Making the ph adjusted drug CafCit uses sodium citrate dihydrate, however simply making caffeine citrate only requires caffeine and citric acid in solution such as in the soft drink Pepsi (78 mg / 12 oz). Ask a qualified chemist for advice such as Justin Dragna[1]. Youjaes (talk) 05:34, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Caffeine page

[edit]

Caffeine citrate is simply the citrate salt of caffeine. This article ought to be merged into the caffeine article.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Sbelknap (talkcontribs) 05:00, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No the citrate is what is used as the medication. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 13:46, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It's not actually a salt, but cocrystallization helps with solubility. Pelirojopajaro (talk) 07:06, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
