Opening Paragraph
[edit]"...it is regarded as one of the best trance tracks ever produced..." didn't seem to be too verifiable so I replaced it with "its popularity is reflected in the countless remixes that have since been created."
Maybe there are some statistics or ratings (besides the number of remixes) of the song that could be incorporated to show that it is "one of the best trance tracks" Dav2008 18:43, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've been trying to find some sort of sales records, but its pretty impossible to find any sort of sales records regarding electronic dance music it seems. If you look at the discogs entry for Energy 52 you can see that this track was featured on hundreds of compilations though. Wickethewok 19:13, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
In 2001 it was voted the best (dance) tune ever in the british musicmagazine Mixmag by it's readers. More precisely Mixmag November 2001 Issue 123. There it's noted that (then) "The tune has been licensed to 82 compilation albums. It's been released on at least 19 labels. There are 18 official mixes and countless bootlegs. But it only spent seven weeks in the british charts and never climbed higher than number 11.". So I guess the numbers are even higher today with the new mixes and albums. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.11.233.116 (talk) 00:43, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
