West Jerusalem is not Israel
[edit]Concerning this: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Caf%C3%A9_Hillel_bombing&type=revision&diff=894155514&oldid=894030435
West Jerusalem is not internationally recognized as being Israel. Only a very few countries recognize WJ as the capital of Israel, but there is no large recognition. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 05:21, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
That's your opinion, but it is not backed up by fact. Attack Ramon (talk) 14:00, 29 April 2019 (UTC)- Not my opinion, look at the sources here: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Israel&oldid=894801304#cite_note-6 Exactly as I said, only a very few countries recognize Jerusalem or West Jerusalem as Israel. There is no wide recognition. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 03:01, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
You're confusing recognition of the whole of Jerusalem as the Capital with recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the western part. Attack Ramon (talk) 03:36, 30 April 2019 (UTC)- Can you bring evidence WJ is internationally recognized as part of Israel? --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 08:31, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
You are confused as to who needs to prove his point, and what needs to be supported. There is no shortage of reliable sources saying this happened in Israel, e.g - https://www.nytimes.com/2003/09/10/world/in-2-bombings-arab-attackers-kill-13-in-israel.html Attack Ramon (talk) 14:12, 30 April 2019 (UTC)- Its an American news article where a specific American journalist follows the pov of Americas ally Israel that West Jerusalem belongs to Israel. That is no proof that WJ is internationally recognized as part of Israel. And yes it is you who have to prove it since it is you that is claiming WJ is Israel.--Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 05:12, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
Here on wikipedia we don't discount reliable sources because they are American. Attack Ramon (talk) 13:33, 2 May 2019 (UTC)- Personal opinion is all very interesting, but we generally following sources such as the New York Times. Icewhiz (talk) 06:48, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
- The NY Times source doesn't say that West Jerusalem is internationally recognized as Israel. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 08:47, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
- There are reporting this happened in Israel. Icewhiz (talk) 14:18, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
- As shown here: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Israel&oldid=894801304#cite_note-6 the reporting is false as only a very few countries recognize West Jerusalem as Israeli. Which makes the reporting a fringe pov, and not acceptable in a Wikipedia article. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 07:14, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a source, and the New York Times is generally well regarded and is far from "fringe pov". Icewhiz (talk) 07:16, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- It is not wikipedia that is the source, look at the sources linked there, it shows 3 countries recognizing WJ as Israel, and 2 entire Jerusalem. That is an extreme minority pov. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 07:20, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- Rather significant countries, which aren't a source either - and in this case you are conflating between views on the Israeli capital and views on Israeli territory which are not the same issue. Icewhiz (talk) 07:27, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- Then show me how many countries recognize WJ as Israeli... im still waiting. It is you two who want to present WJ as being located in Israel but you both have failed to show evidence that it is internationally recognized as being Israeli. The views of one journalist working for the NYT is not the views of the international community. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 07:37, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Again, no. All we have to do is show reliable sources who say this event happened in Israel, which we have done. It was described that way in the NYT, and here's another source that says the same thing: https://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/world/2003-09-09-israel-bombing_x.htm. Those killed in the attack
[edit]the murdered
[edit]Because I am a new user, I would like to understand why you canceled my edit I wrote about the victims of the attack? After all, the murdered are well-known people who have entries about them on Wikipedia, and what is the problem with the editing I did? אדומיניק (talk) 17:42, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
