Management

[edit]

There are some major inaccuracies to this section of the page. I have lived in Windsor all of my life and know a fair bit about the company - admittedly I do have friends and family that work there. Caesars Windsor is owned by the OLG, operated by WCL Windsor Casino Limited and its shareholders are Harrah's Entertainment and Hiltons Hotels Corp.

I would also like to update the History which is a very condensed version of how Caesars Windsor came to be and a few months behind. June192008 (talk) 20:00, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Currency exchange rate

[edit]

Do we really need to put the exchange rate in here? Seems like that would be a maintenance nightmare. Realkyhick 02:14, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, especially since the exchange rate changes every day(literally). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bllasae (talkcontribs) 01:56, 20 December 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Casino windsor.jpg

[edit]

Image:Casino windsor.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Many of these references are now returning 404 errors. Perhaps we should find permanent/alternative sources. The province of Ontario keeps a database of public records for companies such as this one —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.57.70.247 (talk) 19:16, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Performers.

[edit]

I purpose that Notable performers should be removed since they have nothing to do with the casino it's self.

  1. It reads as a list and advertisement for the casino it's self.
  2. No other major casino's wiki page has a list of this type
  3. Many of the Notable performers regularly do the Casino Circuit
  4. Many of the performers have also performed at venues in the Detroit area as well
  5. The venue is not a notable one with a history of ground breaking performances.
  6. There is not a detailed description of the venue
  7. The artical it's self reads as if it was written by a PR team.
