Covered with?
[edit]Hi. At the moment we have this "The tower is [...] built from red sandstone covered with cream Bath Stone, [...]" Surely if this were correct then we could not see the red sandstone? From the photo (and my own memories) we certainly can. Might another form of words be appropriate? Best wishes DBaK (talk) 07:39, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
- Wow, it's been there since May 2007! Still doesn't make it right. Ornamented with? Highlighted with? Somethingelsed with? DBaK (talk) 07:42, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
- I've had a go. It now says "The tower is [...] built from red sandstone with cream Bath Stone for ornamentation and emphasis, [...]'. On the one hand, this is certainly better than "covered with" but on the other hand it's still quite dire and clunky and may even miss a trick because I don't know if it's structural, or what, so "ornamentation and emphasis" is a bit of a stab in the dark really. Please feel free to improve it. And if you have specialist knowledge then please feel even more free to improve it! :) Best wishes DBaK (talk) 08:23, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
