Believe Sedwill's appointment is temporary

[edit]

since he is also National Security Adviser.

Not so: "The Prime Minister has appointed Sir Mark Sedwill, the acting Cabinet Secretary, permanently to the role with immediate effect...." Ghmyrtle (talk) 12:49, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Simon Case is not Cabinet Secretary yet

[edit]

Simon Case will replace Sir Mark Sedwill on the 9th September 2020, not today as the article currently states (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/simon-case-appointed-as-cabinet-secretary-and-head-of-the-civil-service). Just thought that I'd mention it here to avoid confusion. FollowTheTortoise (talk) 10:34, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
