Merger proposal

The result of this discussion was to merge the 2017 tournament article into the main article. Jack N. Stock (talk) 12:20, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that 2017 CTFA International Tournament be merged into CTFA International Tournament. I think that the content in the 2017 article can easily be explained in the context of CTFA International Tournament, and the CTFA International Tournament article is of a reasonable size that the merging of the 2017 tournament will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. There's no need to differentiate the tournament by year until there has more than one tournament, per WP:CRITERIA: "conciseness." Also "naturalness" as I searched online and found usually the tournament is mentioned simply as "CTFA International Tournament." Jack N. Stock (talk) 13:20, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
