The article says that the site debuted on August 30, but I found this to be the oldest active article on the site, from august 17 1995 [1].17:14, 14 March 2006 81.98.155.129

CNN.com regularly edits their articles without any notice[edit]

Anyone else find that CNN.com fairly often changes the content of their articles without any notice? It's very frustrating. Yesterday CNN reported that an Israeli ambassador to the US said that the C802 missile used by hezbollah against their ship was Chinese-made : on this page : [2]. However it has since been changed. However, KLTV reported this : [3], which contains essentially the same information, and attributes it to CNN. What's more is that if you search for "israeli ambassador" or "c-802" on CNN.com, that CNN article comes up in the search results even though neither of those terms appear in the article now. One wonders how this affects CNN's reputation of journalistic integrity.--Paraphelion 11:56, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge to CNN[edit]

I suggest that we redirect this page to the article on CNN much as the following news company URLs do:

I think that having this CNN.com article is rundendent and not neccessary since we already have the CNN article.

I concur. JCO312 16:58, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree too; there isn't a need for an article on the website. In regards to what CJ King said, I've redirected, as opposed to merging, seeing as there isn't really any content to merge in the first place. Picaroon 22:02, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
