Usage in WP

[edit]

CLEAPSS was already referenced in 2 WP articles, before this article was created: [1].

So, I've linked CLEAPSS into School science technician & Screaming jelly babies, which de-orphans CLEAPSS.

Regarding Notability

[edit]

CLEAPSS is undeniably notable to those in British School Science departments, as a good majority of schools have benefitted from the organisation's resources at one point or another. This is often, however, a more 'behind-the-scenes' type of support and so not very many articles would be published in news organizations. A quick search on Google Scholar seems to bring up a few hits for CLEAPSS's role in risk assessments and safety in educational setting which may be of use here. It would also be worthwhile bringing up the significant impact the CLEAPSS Hazcards and the Laboratory Handbook published by them. The company also worked with the former DfES and the ASE to produce certain resources accessible regardless of whether the user is registered to their site1.
Hopefully this is of some use to someone. 92.17.154.158 (talk) 15:37, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, here's a potentially useful secondary source from Chemistry World in their article Rallying to the chemical safety cause. Msuxg (talk) 07:54, 25 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
