Distributor of Iminent Virus

[edit]

CDNetworks and Panther Express distribute this browser hijacker / spyware virus. See: http://support.clean-mx.de/clean-mx/viruses.php?domain=iminent.com&sort=first%20desc

Search.iminent.com looks like a legal website having numerous of informative links, but in fact, it is just a fake information which contains Trojan, rootkit or other malware virus provided by computer hackers. Once your computer is is infected with this redirect virus, whenever you search for particular websites via Google, Bing or Yahoo, the results are still shown, the browser will be automatically redirected to search.iminent.com. Many people got such infection via corrupt porn web sites, spam e-mail attachments, chat programs or through corrupt software updates. This Search.iminent.com adware infection usually changes your browser settings and browser home page, generates many annoying ads pop-ups on your computer and keep redirecting your web browsers to unwanted sites. It may reports fake infections, stating that your PC is infected with Trojans or other malware that don’t even exist. You will find that your system performs very slowly and or get stuck all the time and no anti-virus can handle it. This tricky virus should be uninstalled from your computer immediately. (http://wikimalware.com/how-to-remove-search-iminent-com-manually/) The company's devious practices should be mentioned on the page. 173.217.202.38 (talk) 18:53, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,Thank you for the heads up on this. We have worked with our customer to scan their sites for viruses and none have been found. At this time, none of the sites are showing the ability to distribute viruses.

COI

[edit]

With all the WP:SPA editors on this article, I am assuming they have a WP:COI, especially considering the advertising state of the article. We need to be based on secondary sources - this is not an extension of the corporate website. Widefox; talk 10:03, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
