I think the geo location, and the location marked on the map, is in the wrong place. Bourg-sur-Gironde is above Bordeaux, not below it.--81.105.181.49 (talk) 19:44, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've changed it; the latitude in this article was 44, and in the Bourg, Gironde article was 45, but apart from that they were similar. I've changed it to 45 in this article. --Snigbrook (talk) 19:58, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

Some of the material in this article rightfully belong in the article on the commune Bourg, Gironde since it seems to be translated from fr:Bourg (Gironde).

Macroterroir

[edit]

I've cut the following:

which is why the term “macroterroir” is used to designate the particularities of the land and “mésoclimat” to define the local climate resulting from the influence of geography on climate
This patchwork of soils goes some way to explaining the term “macroterroir”.

The reason I've moved them is that this is the opposite of what "macroterroir" means. There is no reference for the claims (or indeed for the whole section) so I'm not sure what is intended. For reference, the web-site AquitaineOnline.com says:

Les Côtes de Bourg sont ... surtout une entité géographique, de terroir et de climat, qui, malgré la présence de différents types de sols, peut se définir par un"macroterroir" et un "mésoclimat".
