Notability
[edit]Does this person meet notability requirements? I’d never heard of him until I stayed up past 2am one night. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.21.130.223 (talk) 09:22, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Yes. He's been a famous comedian for decades. He has hosted comedy shows since the 1980s. 2600:8800:7C85:4200:AC80:62C:CB19:473F (talk) 07:19, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]I saw that In Living Color (1991-3)dissed Byron Allen, along with Bryant Gumble, for being a "sell-out." In their "Tom and Tom" skit, the Toms become the first Blacks accepted to an all-white country club.
One Tom says it's the happiest day of his life since he won the Bryant Gumble look-alike contest. The other Tom says it's the happiest day of his life since he won the Byron Allen look-alike contest.
What's the deal with Byron Allen? What was the word on the street in the early 90's? 24.99.35.156 23:23, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Not much different than it is now, except he was maybe slightly better known. Living Color was just making fun of them for being very "white" Black people.71.115.17.40 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:11, 2 June 2009 (UTC).

Date of Birth / Real People
[edit]What's his date of birth? And why no mention of his appearance on Real People? Are we supposed to pretend that never happened? Captain Quirk (talk) 02:41, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
