Restructuring

[edit]

I put the main text together and divided it by period, to make it easier to follow the narrative. The article needs an entry paragraph on why Belarus had an important role to play in the war (geography, direct land connection to Moscow, Pripyet marshes, etc.).

I also corrected a factual error Romanian and other Axis forces did not attack on 22 June, but over the next days or weeks. Andreas 09:53, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Section about Poland and Warsaw

[edit]

I would finish the narrative with the Red Army standing outside Warsaw. From then on it is clearly no longer the military history of Belarus. Andreas 09:53, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

German Commanders and officers linked with Belarusian cause

[edit]

Can you explain how these officers were linked to the cause of Belarus, and maybe explain what the cause of Belarus was? Andreas 11:10, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Belarussian commanders in the Red Army?

[edit]

For completeness, I think these should be mentioned as well. Andreas 10:22, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adolf Hitler had always intended to renege on the pact with the Soviet Union
