Abuse at factory link not relevent without explanation, and even worse when you can't spell "factories" right. ^ agree with above unsigned edit, though we note you can't spell relevant ;-) Mrcakey (talk) 21:06, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

slang

[edit]

"butterball" is also a slang British term for an overweight person (usually male child)

Butterball is no longer part of ConAgra

[edit]

I'd fix it, but don't have time.

Controversy

[edit]

Reading the PETA references, PETA is in no way accusing the Butterball company of promoting abusive practices. Does the controversy section belong here, or on its own article? --Measure 23:05, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I hereby propose that we eliminate the controversy section from this article, on the grounds that PETA has in no way implicated Butterball in their complaint, or even in their press releases surrounding the complaint. If the complaint is notable, it should have its own Wiki article.--Measure 23:57, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody cares? Section removal commencing. --Measure 00:52, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That fact probablly at useful as that one time on MST3K when Bobo called the Butterball line for love advice.--Hailey 19:58, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:ButterballLogo.png

[edit]

Image:ButterballLogo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:49, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Turkey Producer?

[edit]

Do companies really "produce" turkeys? Is "turkey producer" a recognised phrase? Mrcakey (talk) 21:07, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
