The article states that “when I kick shit I always manage to stir something up, whether it's the police, parents or p**sy” is in Bushwick Bill's own words. Did he write p**sy? Does Wikipedia have a policy on words that some people find offensive? Tim Ivorson 18:38, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Well, I don't know. I figure Bushwick Bill probably isn't one to mince words, so I suppose it'd be safe to just spell it out. Everyking 20:27, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • I went ahead and changed it. I hope that it's accurate. Tim Ivorson 22:18, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Dwarf

How tall is Bushwhack Bill? he is 3 feet 9 inches half his body is chucky the other half is bushwick

Time discrepancy

The article says that he shot himself in 1991 and a photo of the event was used on the cover of the Geto Boys' 1990 album. Surely one or both of these dates needs amending. Yeanold Viskersenn 12:42, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

Dr. Dre

In Dre's album The Cronic, there a referneces to him, what's up with that?? Also in ICPs Cheryy Pie, they say, I need a - like Bushwick Bill need an eye. Is that a diss?? Realg187 20:47, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

What the hell is wrong with this article?

I agree, I dunno why Bushwick's name was changed to that long nickname on everything. Even after he talked about that name, he still called himself Bushwick Bill on every album afterwards. The nickname was more of a joke than an actual name change. It doesn't make sense to change the name of the article and all the mentions of his name, simply because everybody knows him as Bushwick Bill. I guarantee that absolutely no one refers to him by that longer name. I would change it myself, but I have no idea how to change article titles. Whoever did this is just being corny because not one single person refers to Bushwick as Dr. Wolfgang...etc. That needs to go.

according to wikipedia policy the articles are supposed to use the most well known name, so this page should probably be moved back to Bushwick Bill. --AlexOvShaolin 21:02, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Jamaica

I think he was born in Jamaica, Queens; not the island/nation called Jamaica. Wathiik 13:36, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Mention of dwarfism in lede?

I note that this individual is listed in the category for dwarfism, but no mention of it is made in the article. It would seem that this is a notable aspect of his image as a musician, in terms of being a "hard not to notice" and relatively rare trait amongst rappers. I would submit that mention of such in the lede would not be disrespectful or singling out a non-notable feature, since this represents a significantly unusual trait in a performer. Thoughts? MatthewVanitas (talk) 02:29, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

Its worth mentioning, though I think a reliable source stating this would be helpful. Wapondaponda (talk) 01:57, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
I agree that it should be mentioned. At present, "midget" is listed as one of his occupations... pretty sure that's not a job. Do we need a reliable source for his stature if it is plainly visible via the article's photo? 76.177.42.68 (talk) 08:14, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the preferred terminology for people with dwarfism "little person"? Or, do we know how Bushwick Bill refers to himself? I want to edit the line about him being a dwarf in the lede, but I'll hold back to see if somebody with more knowledge wants to weigh in. Webster100 (talk) 18:50, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

Dwarfism/loss of eye

I don't know if this is adequate, but his solo track "Little Big Man" has the lyrics "It's Bushwick Bill, I be that motherfuckin nigga/ Four foot two, a couple of inches and I'm steady gettin bigger." It implies he is comfortable with himself enough that though it is obviously something others would find "disabling", as it says in the categories, I don't think dwarfism has held him back. He's an incredibly talented man who acknowledges his size but isn't hindered. He's spent at least the past thirty years doing what he loves: making music. I find it insulting that the summary includes physical characteristics. I thought of two other celebrities in a similar situation, where they were known for physical characteristics: Mama Cass and Ruth Buzzi. One is known for her size, and the other for her face, and not in a good way. Neither had that posted as part of their biographies. I am removing that line and I will look for a more appropriate way to address this topic. TwoSpear 23:52, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
