emotion reference removed
[edit]I removed a line reading it was 'sad' that Burt's Bees claims to move away from small earth-friendly retailers, as biases should not be conveyed in encyclopedias.
Unreferences Items
[edit]'Since the private equity group involvement the products have had a much wider distribution. None of the original founders are currently involved with the company.'
I removed the line above since it was unreferenced and seems somewhat opinion-based. Also, after researching into the history, Burt Shavitz sold his share of the company to the other co-founder Roxanne Quimby who still holds a seat on their board. I would consider that as being 'involved with the company' but maybe no direct influence into their day-to-day stuff.

possible financial troubles
[edit]They discontinued their toothpaste brand which may mean they are struggling for sales and revenue — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.169.169.168 (talk) 17:35, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- How many menu items has McDonalds discontinued over the years? Any sign they are "struggling for sales and revenue"? Incidentally, by "they" do you mean Burt's Bees or Clorox, the $5,000,000,000.00 revenue company that owns them? - SummerPhD (talk) 02:00, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

Added Citation
[edit]I added a citation in the first paragraph of the first "History" section. I also added quotation marks to the sentence because it is word for word taken from a reliable website created by Burt's Bees.
Eliminated redundancies
[edit]I combined a few things that were mentioned multiple times, in different sections. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Riosa17302 (talk • contribs) 15:44, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
