The article doesnt have the total population on it. I can't find it anywhere on the web and i was hoping to find it here. i.am.me. 1:13 pm May 3, 2007

The page did not have one before, however I am not entirely clear how the taxonomy works, so I'd appreciate someone cleaning it up. --zandperl 02:19, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

there used to be a taxobox in there. I reverted to an older version that deleted practically everything that wasn't text. Circeus 02:29, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There's some content that was deleted as well, so I threw some back in. Plus some of the content that was in the old version was lifted directly from one of the sources, so I tried to clean that up some, and threw in the picture I'd found. --zandperl 12:53, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name as proper noun?

[edit]

Hello all- I find the use of proper case for the owl's name in the body text of this article quite distracting. I could see using it in the title, but it jumps out as bizarre in the body text. I know this is a controversial topic on Wikipedia, so I haven't changed any instances of the name to sentence case, but I wanted to float the idea here. Eric talk 12:28, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Burrowing owl. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
