For this article to be good, more people need to contribute. At the very least this article should be a Start Class and possibly class C. This article could be class A with everyone contributing.--Tubs uk (talk) 16:48, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To do list

[edit]

This article needs pictures to make it nicer and to give people a good idea of what Burnt Yates looks like (obviously).

Finding out the population of Burnt Yates would make the article better.--Tubs uk (talk) 16:48, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Statistics for Civil Parish

[edit]

The stats for the civil parish of Clint cum Hamlets (of which Burnt Yates is a part) are to be found here. This might help to expand some sections of the article.--Harkey (talk) 15:07, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

First thoughts

[edit]
  • All sections need to be expanded. See Lealholm for example.
  • The infobox Template:Infobox UK place needs more entries adding.
  • The article needs less conjecture and more facts.

More thoughts - remove the distances table as adds nothing to article, the section on Employment is total speculation and so needs references or removing. Talking of Leeds is stretching it a bit and should be removed, what about much more local locations which are more relevant to the place. Keith D (talk) 18:33, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
