Carolingians, not Merovingians

[edit]

The approval of Pepin the Short as king, given by Pope Zachary II, allowed the Carolingians to supplant the Merovingians as rulers of the Frankish kingdom. I have corrected the error in the text.76.123.208.229 (talk) 12:22, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Feast Day

[edit]

According to the Roman Martyrology, St. Burchard's feast day is on February 2. October 14 is the date of the translation of his relics. The date in the text should be changed. Caeruleancentaur (talk) 02:39, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
