Notable reference outside of Dragonball

[edit]

Having recently returned from a month in Japan, it's probably worth noting that Buruma appears on some pachinko machines, and is occassionally used on street banner ads for hostess bars. You don't see her as often as Lum, but if you walk the streets of Shinjuku after dark you will see pictures of Buruma being used to advertise things that clearly have absolutely nothing to do with Dragonball. Sounds interesting and all, but data can only be added to Wikipedia if it is accompanied with verifiable sources, or else it's original research. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:21, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Right, what could help with your claim would be upload an actual photo of one of the ads. Yet I'm not sure what the wiki legalities of a photo of a street ad or a billboard would fall under. Sarujo (talk) 02:20, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you took the photo yourself, it's definitely fine. 75.76.213.106 (talk) 14:06, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability?

[edit]

I'm questioning how notable Bulma is. She lacks reception and only has a very small creation section [though I disagree that creation = notability, merely out-of-universe content]. Regardless, is there anything more to say about her? Seems that most of the article is just a plot summary to me. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Added a merge tag, so feel free to discuss. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 21:06, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MfD for an incubated copy

[edit]

This article was discussed at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Bulma.  The result of that discussion was a history merge for the edit history of the divergent article, to the redirect in mainspace.  Unscintillating (talk) 00:31, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Restoring article

[edit]

As per various discussions in the incubator, including (1) the point that the 17 other versions of this article on other language wikis were not reviewed in deciding that the topic was not notable, and (2) the addition of two books to the ==Further reading== section, I am restoring the article.  Unscintillating (talk) 00:31, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bulma anime image

[edit]

Yes that is Oolong disguised as Bulma. I feel there could be better pics for the anime version anyway. I am open to any suggestions. Jhenderson 777 13:23, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
