Destinations

[edit]

Hey guys, I have a question, to save space, why is the a destinations list when we have a perfect functional destinations page? I infact propose that we remove the drop-box/list and use the destinations page instead. Thank you Joey Boeing 777 (talk) 20:29, 25 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stop reverting edits unless you have evidence to support it! I have backed up my evidence which is becoming obvious you have not checked. Can you not read English? If not why use this wikipedia? Regards, Zaps93 (talk) 20:35, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File:FB 1234.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:FB 1234.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Removal of unsourced and tagged text

[edit]

As per the Wikipedia policy at WP:V, which says, "All material in Wikipedia mainspace, including everything in articles, lists and captions, must be verifiable. All quotations, and any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged, must include an inline citation that directly supports the material. Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed." I have removed text that was challenged and tagged as needing a ref back in May. Another editor keeps putting the unsourced text back in. If this information is correct it should be easy to find refs. If there are no refs then it is likely that this information is wrong or that it is just a form of vandalism. Unsourced text that has been tagged cannot by reinstated without refs added. Constant reinsertion of unsourced text will be considered vanadalism. - Ahunt (talk) 12:41, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, WP:BURDEN reads "All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing a citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution."--Jetstreamer Talk 13:00, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Quite true, thanks for adding that. - Ahunt (talk) 13:11, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
