Possible Picture And Copyright Issues

I have located a possible picture for this article, but I have three issues:

I don't personally know how to format and include it in the page
I can't prove that this image is truly the species in question, although I do have access to the Schuiteman article (in references) with black and white photos of the plant that suggest it probably is.
I'm really not sure how Creative Commons works need to be cited or if they can be used. I know nothing about copyright and I'm a very new editor.

Any assistance would be valuable.
