Hi!
I would like to change some mistakes in the article about the Brugse Vrije, but I can't "edit". The sections that I want to change are: 1. It was originally the castellany of Bruges but later the city and the Vrije were considered as separate common law areas.
That should be better written as: In 1127 the city of Bruges was deconnected from the castellany. Since then the city and the Vrije were considered as separate common law areas.
2. In the late 16th century it was divided into 35 Amts, with varying autonomy in various taxes and laws.
That should be better written as: In de Middle Ages it was divided in amts.
3. an orphan room, in which records of the city's well-off orphans were kept.
That should be better written as: an orphan room, in which records of the castellany's orphans were kept.
Yours sincerely,
Laurent.
