This doesn't seem like an action comedy. If anything, it's a workplace comedy. There are some action sequences, but not every episode, and the screen time is more often focused on what happens in the station rather than on the street. Contrast to recent sitcoms with more of an emphasis of bringing at least one major action sequence or police confrontation per episode, such as The Good Guys and Chuck. -Jerodast (talk) 01:57, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
Cast Table
My apologies, as i did not notice the warning on the table's code saying not to make any changes without discussing them in the Talk section first, it was not my intention to edit out of turn, however, the table listed Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller as main cast in the first season, which was incorrect. They were only promoted to main cast for the second season. Monsieur Gustave H. (talk) 08:31, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
Captain Ray Holt
Holt is a gay character. When a TV series includes gay characters (or lesbian, bisexual, transgender), the category identifying the inclusion is added to the article. It does not render the series a "Gay" or LGBT series. It only acknowledges that the TV series includes L, or G, or B, or T characters. In regards to Holt:

Popular culture section
I don't think Hader's joke from a Comedy Central roast is a significant pop culture reference. Also, I think Chelsea's experience as a writer on Parks and Rec would be more appropriate in a section about the production of Brooklyn Nine-nine as the real significance to her quote is the atmosphere on set, not some tie-in to Parks and Rec. I hope to hear other thoughts on this. Knope7 (talk) 03:34, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
- I think the importance of mentioning each and every actors comedic background will bring light to the true talent the actors on the show possess and bring light to why the show is so successful.
@Knope7: Re the Chelsea Peretti quote, I agree that seems more suited to the Production section. Younotmenotyou (talk) 12:22, 13 May 2018 (UTC)

SERP
The search result snippet says 'brooklyn nine-nine is the greatest show of all time' and I don't know how to edit it. Destmon (talk) 08:48, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
- This vandalism seems to have been picked up. It has already been corrected. --AussieLegend (✉) 09:29, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
Articles for the characters?
I feel like we should start making articles for the main characters, since most show characters have their own article. What do you guys think? Also, I have a draft for Jake's article. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs) 08:35, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- Character articles require real world treatment. They should not just be retellings of episodes and should include citations from reliable, 3rd party sources. --AussieLegend (✉) 14:06, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- I agree to truly give each character a well written page of their own, we must provide information that cannot be found in the episodes alone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Willstraub (talk • contribs) 00:53, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
