Infobox picture

Thank you for opening up this conversation, Jonas kam. It appears the subject's image has been changed a few times but has been the most stable in its history until your most recent edits. For everyone's assistance here, I've done a bit of the legwork to have all the information readily available.

An image was first added on edit 1038266461 which was August 2021 (hereby 'Picture 1'). It was first changed on edit 1100446161 in July 2022 (hereby 'Picture 2') and adjusted to a different picture just weeks later in August 2022 on edit 1103983264 (hereby 'Picture 3') which resulted in a back and forth edit war ultimately ending with the status quo Picture 2 on edit 1104615084 as Picture 3 lacked the necessary copyrights. Picture 2 was changed again just months later on edit 1122840706 (hereby 'Picture 4') and edit 1122841051 (hereby 'Picture 5'), which again was reverted on edit 1124788350 due to Pictures 4 and 5 lacking necessary copyrights like Picture 3 prior.

I personally made edit 1180951871 (hereby 'Picture 6') in October 2023. It stayed stable and unchanged until May 2024 on edit 1226621297 by a WP:SPA (hereby 'Picture 7') which was immediately reverted by another user within a day to restore Picture 6. It was changed to Picture 2 by in June 2024 on edit 1231811032 by a user who at the time was their 2nd ever edit (and as of now they still have sub-30 edits) so I reverted back to Picture 6 on edit 1231843093 and has remained on Picture 6 until our most recent edits.

I cannot speak to why others have made the edits that they have, but can speak to my own edits. For me, Picture 6 is a professionally taken photograph that accurately depicts the subject which is the purpose for image usage in the first place per WP:BLPIMAGE. Per MOS:IMAGEQUALITY, both Picture 2 and Picture 6 are suitable as they meet all criteria so that's not an issue (as it would be, in my opinion, for Picture 1). For Image 2, you can visibly see gum in the subject's mouth, which in my opinion is a poor representation for a main BLP image regardless of image quality.
