Layout

[edit]

The section titled Layout is very clumsily written. It is difficult to work out where anything is in relation to other places. I propose that the section be removed, and replaced with a section on public facilities within Broadmeadows - which would give the same information, but without the clumsy directions between each place. Personally ima sick of lists and felt like giving it a little feeling.--Whywhywhy 12:24, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiarism?

[edit]

"During the 1970s and 1980s Broadmeadows had a reputation for boisterous youth: the Broady Boys rode the trains and daubed graffiti proclaiming that they "rule, O.K." By the 1990s this had lessened and there was a catch-up of some of the facilities long denied."

This looks like it's been lifted almost wholesale from http://www.arts.monash.edu.au/ncas/multimedia/gazetteer/list/broadmeadows.html

During the 80's the term " 3XY rocks Melbourne, Broady rocks trains" was also a popular term used. This was taken from the popular radio station at the time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.253.19.206 (talk) 23:07, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Other places called Broadmeadows

[edit]

There needs to be a disambiguation page for Broadmeadows, because there is a Broadmeadows near Johnsonville, New Zealand.

I don't think it's an official placename, but it is a significant area, with only one way to get into or out of it (via Burma Road) (except that needs to be checked - I haven't been there since 1994).

Vandles

[edit]

I dont think mini-me and kenny rodgers came from Broadmeadows--220.239.97.117 13:21, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As neither of these two individuals are bogans or criminals, they clearly did not come from Broadmeadows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.45.59.71 (talk) 04:37, 26 September 2007 (UTC) What the heck is a vandle? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.49.202.156 (talk) 12:41, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
