Nickname

[edit]

This aircraft has been nicknamed "Puerto Rican DC-10", quite fitting I would say. RGDS Alexmcfire — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexmcfire (talkcontribs) 11:57, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Production dates

[edit]

The website states that Trislander production ceased in 1982. However, the B-N Historians website (http://www.bnhistorians.co.uk) states that production ceased in 1979. Does somebody care to clarify?? Thanks in advance. Raymondwinn (talk) 14:22, 11 March 2008 (UTC) +++++++++++ I just noted that the Trislander was also produced in Belgium, with the final Belgian unit being delivered in 1984. Perhaps that explains the discrepancy - maybe production in Belgium continued past the UK cutoff date???? Raymondwinn (talk) 14:25, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Trijet?

[edit]

Is there a term for non-jet engined aircraft with a three-engine configuration (such as this one), similar to trijet?
