Does anyone else remember back about 1948-ish a serialized version of the movie ?
I was in about nine years old and enrolled in St. Claire's Academy - a co-ed boarding school in New York's Putnam county. Wednesday nights we'd assemble in the auditorium for movie night. Before the feature film we'd enjoy several cartoons. But - the only thing I remember vividly was the weekly serial adventure of "Frank Buck's Bring 'Em Back Alive" ! From watching the mesmorizing opening animations of how the earth's continents had once been conjoined and then, over time, had separated ... when I became older it was logical for me to grasp the underlying plates beneath the earth's land masses...
It's amazing, now that I think about it. We were never taught this fact in any class -- and I attended about six different schools in NY, Florida, NJ . . . G'ma ellie (talk) 14:13, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
