Poor Pictures

[edit]

There don't seem to be any good pictures of this bridge. I speak as one who went there to specifically take such pictures with no particular joy in the results. I may have to go back there and try again, but I welcome advice on how to do a better job this time, as it's a roughly two hour drive each way. I'll get new pictures of the replacement while I'm there, if I do this. I need better light, that I know. Does anyone have a boat on the Taunton River we could use as a platform to get better angles? - Denimadept (talk) 20:25, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I may have some in my archives... will check. Or, I am only 1/2 hour away, if that, so I'll put it on my "to do" list. --Marcbela (talk) 20:33, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I took some new pictures yesterday. I'll likely start scanning the slides tomorrow evening, then see what I've got. - Denimadept (talk) 17:49, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This link no longer works. I noticed when trying to resolve the "ibid" issue. I've currently got an e-mail in to srpedd.org to find out what's happened to the document. - Denimadept (talk) 20:20, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Closed to all traffic?

[edit]

I see the list article now claims this bridge is closed to all traffic. Have they opened it permanently? Is this an official change? Have they now decided to remove the bridge? When will they do it? Source? - Denimadept (talk) 21:04, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes -Both ends are gated, until they decide what to do, I guess.--Marcbela (talk) 23:52, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
