[edit]This is just a quick template page with little bits of information. I haven't put any sources in cause I'm not sure what kind of sources we're looking for.
Anyway, the page needs a picture and some more info if someone could run out to it with their camera and upload a pic.

What does "cranked" mean for the cobblestones?
[edit]"The line of the cobbles in the roadway is cranked, due to the belief that this pattern would stop witches from crossing." I have searched and searched but can find no website that explains what it means for cobblestones to be cranked. I just find many people citing the same architectural writeup that wikipedia cites. Can anyone add explanatory text to say what cranked means here? AristosM (talk) 17:27, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
