Unsourced statements

[edit]

Wikipedia requires that its material be based on verifiable, reliable sources. I have just added such sources for most of the information in the article. However, two lines still need sources:

  • She was frequently used in the series when the script called for a female character who was supposed to be physically attractive, along with colleague Beez McKeever.
    • I'm especially troubled by the implied POV that Mary Jo Pehl, the other prominently featured actress, is unattractive. It's obvious from comparisons of her Pearl Forrester and other characters' makeup and her publicity photo on The Satellite News that they worked to make her look unappealing, an impression further bolstered by her apparently deliberate performances as awkward or unpleasant characters. (One can note a similar striking difference between Trace Beaulieu's ordinary appearance, especially during the KTMA season, and his over-the-top Dr. Clayton Forrester persona.)
  • In recent years, Bridget has lended her writing talent to a Christian summer camp named Summer Festival.
    • I could find no source for this information, nor even a specific reference to something called "Summer Festival" that could be uniquely identified.

Unless this information can be sourced, it should be removed. And I may remove the "attractive" claim anyway as POV (although I certainly agree that Bridget is attractive). ~ Jeff Q (talk) 04:02, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the 2 statements described above, as no sources have been added. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 14:00, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Page move

[edit]

Although she was credited as "Bridget Jones" during MST3K, she currently uses her full name of "Bridget Jones Nelson" or simply "Bridget Nelson." [1] [2] [3] I think moving the page is the right move here, with the added bonus that it'll reduce confusion with the fictional Bridget Jones. Rob T Firefly (talk) 02:12, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
