Radio career POV
[edit]The Radio career section of the article in its present form, with the exception of the first paragraph, reads like a Hate Sussman Forum. One's immediate inclination is to cut the entire section after the first paragraph, footnoted or not. Moreover, most of the "references" used in this section are from the Web sites of well-known extremist organizations, hardly reliable or unbiased. Wikipedia is not the place to wax vitriolic or commit character assassination. —QuicksilverT @ 23:05, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'd agree that it's a bit of an issue. It seems that non-fans are the only ones who document his work since Sussman won't put transcripts or audio up on his radio website. I've edited some past stuff that was over the top, will do some more. Also worth noting that positive stuff (successful businessman, donates to kids) has no references.Brian A Schmidt (talk) 01:09, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- Consensus appears to be that the section may look imbalanced because of the sources and because it reflects badly on Sussman, but it's an accurate reflection of his radio career. I've also cleaned it up some, so I'll remove the POV tag for now.Brian A Schmidt (talk) 20:16, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- "... accidentally tuned him in tonight ...". Yeah, and probably couldn't tune to another station, rapt with morbid fascination. It's a safe bet that 64.14.81.44 is one of the "contributors" that put the article into the sorry POV shape it was/is (anonymously, of course). —QuicksilverT @ 00:59, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
I deleted some of the comments here, since bashing Sussman really has no place on a discussion page. Furthermore, the statement that Sussman doesn't believe in anthropogenic global warming is out of place in the article. The statement is fine, but it should be in a different paragraph.67.188.207.19 (talk) 06:09, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
It looks like most of the citations in this article point back to sources created by the subject. Why not just link to his own webpage? Also the citations do not all support the statements they footnote. Eg #7 is an article about the for Spacious Skies organization, but makes no mention of Sussman's contribution. What is the point of footnote 2? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.131.110.255 (talk) 18:26, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
