What is with the jargon in the lead "His work focuses on perception, affect and the virtual." I've commented it out until it can be explained. Actually, I'm just going to delete it. —Zujine|talk 20:24, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's pretty literal, actually. That's like, the title of one of his books. Anybody who knows about Massumi is reasonably likely to have a fairly good idea about the technical meanings of those terms.
