[edit]The city was listed wrong. Brett Myers went to the same high school as me at Englewood High in Jacksonville, FL; not Englewood, FL.--Miami007 23:13, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm cutting down the violence section a bit; I have a feeling that the relevance will drop off dramatically as the months go by. 67.46.0.13 07:55, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Edited the "Trivia Section". Somebody had changed the top trivia link to say; "Brett Myers beats his wife". 3:02, April 12, 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.225.252.158 (talk) 19:02, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
YouTube links
[edit]
This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message on the talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material violating someone's copyright. If you are not sure whether the link on this article should be removed or if you would like to help spread this message, contact us on User talk:J.smith/YouTube Linklist. Thanks, ---J.S (t|c) 00:54, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Expansion
[edit]The career section of this article needs SERIOUS expansion. The fact that there is no mention of his college career and that the section on domestic violence and problems is as long as his pro career information is a huge issue. Any editor who reads this and wants to help, please let us know at WP:PHILLIES or on my talk page, please. KV5 (talk) 16:41, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Reading
[edit]In case you guys didn't hear, he is playing in Reading as of 7/12/08. I also fixed the template to Reading. --Oh no, it's Alien joe! 16:32, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Main picture
[edit]The main picture of Brett Myers is under a false license and is a copyright violation. Smuckers It has to be good 10:25, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- If there's proof, I'd like to see it. Otherwise, please don't make false claims. KV5 • Squawk box • Fight on! 13:08, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- Indeed. What part of the license do you claim is false? The copyright holder has released it under the GFDL as well as a Cc-by-3.0, both of which are perfectly sufficient. Please explain. --ZimZalaBim talk 19:57, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- I saw it on FlickR with the commercial rights icon crossed out where it says "Some Rights Reserved". Just a heads up. Smuckers It has to be good 21:21, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- Could just be a similar picture, you'd need to provide a link to the picture you believe has been infringed. KV5 • Squawk box • Fight on! 22:54, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- In case it is a problem picture, I have replaced it with another picture of Myers (albeit of lesser quality), and moved the possible offender to later in the article. KV5 • Squawk box • Fight on! 23:23, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- Here it is, now it says all rights reserved. -- Smuckers It has to be good 23:28, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
