Edited per Wikipedia:Manual of Style
[edit]I edited and rearranged a lot of this article's content today for the second time in the last six months. I've tried to keep all the pertinent information, such as schools and demographics, while removing the 'business directory' and POV content. Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not a directory, and those names, links, and phone numbers had to go. The reference to Threadgills and Janis Joplin is still there – it's just in a different place.
I added the {{Geolinks-US-cityscale}} template, which provides more information than many of the ELs and in a tidier, more concise format.
A lot of the previous content did not comply with the Manual of Style and was, in some cases, simply unnecessary. Before simply reverting my edits, please take a look at the edited version first, because the content for which you're looking could be in a different section. I promise that I'm trying to make this article better and to conform it to other neighborhood articles across Wikipedia. Brentwood sounds like a lovely place to live, and its Wikipedia article should be lovely too. KrakatoaKatie 22:25, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
