[edit]What's the origin of the name Butt?--The reverend 19:58, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- It is apparently his real last name. (If you're talking ethnicity, I haven't the foggiest). I met both Brent and Nancy a few weeks ago at a fan meet & greet, I jokingly teased Nancy that it was a smart career move that she kept her maiden name for showbiz purposes, Brent replied with "Actually, I'm thinking of changing to Robertson." (Note, it was meant as a joke, he *is* a comedian, after all!) --Canuckguy 05:21, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Butt is a Scottish Last Name. It has Latin origins, originally it was spelled Bayt or something. Also, my last name is Butt, and I am a Pakistani-Canadian. When the British took over India, they mis-spelled my tribe's name as Butt, it was some persian word. So thats why there are many Butt's or Pakistani and Scottish origin. Wut
[edit]Why does it say he's an American comedian when it also says he was born in Canada and performs in Canada? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.56.112.31 (talk) 07:40, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
